Differentiating your business to be one of significance, meaning, and contribution is both fun and inspiring. It's hard work and it goes deep.
Creating a differentiation strategy is the first phase of our SMART Business Success Program where we help you to really understand the strengths and weaknesses of your business. Working primarily with Michèle, we begin by understanding your current commitment to the critical elements of differentiation:
- Quality – How do you define quality? What do you measure to ensure quality is maintained?
- Execution – Do you have clear procedures in place? Do your customers all receive the same experience when they deal with your business?
- Personality – How much energy and passion does your business project? Are you memorable? Are your customers raving fans of your business?
The significant work done in Phase 1 will create a clear picture of how your business can be made unique and special – ie. Differentiated! During this step, you will:
- Identify your Business Essence and fundamental business characteristics
- Outline your ongoing commitments to Quality, Execution and Personality
- Define philosophies about Mastery, Leadership and Value
The Differentiation stage concludes with an introduction to the second phase of the SMART Business Success Program – Execution.
