With my multi-disciplinary business consulting background, I integrate initiatives across functional business groups - from operations to marketing to accounting, finance and administration. I find ways to work within existing systems, and expand them to accommodate new requirements.
A solid business strategy requires that you only focus on those initiatives that move you forward with strategic intent. Initiatives can be urgent, important or both...or neither.
